First #IMWAYR Post of 2017!

We have already had a crazy winter here...four snow days in the past three weeks with three of them actually being ice days. Even though we've been busy with normal everyday activities in addition to all the extras the weather has brought, I have thoroughly enjoyed some extra reading time. Yeah me!

Recently loved...

A truly heartwarming story of friendship and unconditional love. Everyone deserves to have a Bertha and Gus in their life! Book love!

Intriguing story inspired by the true story of a 10-year old boy sent to the Idaho Territorial Penitentiary in 1885. The sad, but true, reality is that he actually has a better life in prison...

Fantastic story of courage and bravery during World War II. I read with a knot in my stomach the entire time. More book love!

From my #MustReadin2017 list...

Oh so fun! A quirky kid detective that one can't help but love! I would have absolutely loved the Friday Barnes series as a kid. This is the second book in the series.

Also recently read..

Be prepared to giggle! Full of fun and great humor!

I truly enjoy the Heidi Heckelbeck series...chaos typically ensues after Heidi tries to solve real kid problems using her "witching" spells.

Continuing this week with...

33869636            23411602  An actual adult read... 😊

Looking forward to a great week of reading!
Until next time,

  20 + 17

I am so behind in my #MustReadin2017 post! It has been a crazy couple of weeks at our house, including three ice days rather than snow days. I've spent quite a bit of time planning my post, though, while scraping ice, moving pallets of salt, and preparing food for my husband's employees. After much ado, today is finally the day.
Why 20 + 17? I knew I easily had twenty books on my "Must Read" list. I also know that over the course of the year, I will easily come upon at least seventeen more books that I would like to add to that list.
Eight of my books are carry-overs from my #MustReadin2016 list, so I simply organized my list by carry-overs and "new to my list" titles. Of course, I also put them in ABC order so I could find titles easily. 😊 Here goes!
